The Opaskwayak Cree Nation Housing Authority objectives is to provide proper standard housing for all of the members of OCN and their families and to maximize the use of the monies available for OCN members. Also providing orderly development of houses and disposition of multiple dwellings and establish programs for the upgrading and improvement of presently existing houses so as to promote a higher standard and maximize the useful life of housing on OCN lands. The housing authority provides controls through the board and their agents so as to maintain the highest standard of living facilities as possible for members of OCN and their families.

Application forms

Eligible applicants as determined by a point rating system established by the authority and / or their agents, will be required to file an application in a form and manner to be determined by the authority and the application will constitute a contract between the applicant and the authority. The execution of the application agreement shall constitute evidence that the applicant is bound by all of the terms of the within housing policy and the amendments thereto.
